  • In 2013 I completed work as Oregon Hills Park Project Artist. I was asked to oversee artistic decisions and color choices as well as create visual intrigue for the water and sand play area of the park. I designed and created two large water life mosaics and seven mosaic frogs to adorn the top of the waterway. I added a 14-foot long children's bug pathway to the sand play table, which includes bug tiles made by children at the Santo Community Center in Medford, Oregon. Using ridged fish forms and mosaics I added a relief mural to the wall of the waterway, and beneath the sand I installed life size hand formed cement dinosaur bones. Finally, in conjunction with Len Isenberg, I created 3 mosaic pavings to act as major timeline markers in a geologic time-walk, one of the parks main features. The images that follow show these artistic elements of the park in greater detail.
